Layers and Snippets

Well what a week that was...... totally lost track of the days, spent most of my time on the laptop sorting out Tesco online grocery shopping for home delivery, then a bit of goodie shopping in Oz for my granddaughter, back to England for a few new dies and stamps, and finally - after a prompt from Miss Di over at the Playground - I just had to nip in to Joanna Sheen's craft shop.... I'm exhausted! Instead of aching feet from traipsing around shops it's now aching neck, arms and fingers!

I did manage to grab some time for a bit of crafting though as I saw some challenges I fancied joining in with. My card is made up totally from bits out of my snippets box and a YNS stamp 'one in a chameleon' coloured with Promarkers and cut with the matching die.... and of course I just had to give him (or is it her?) a googly eye.

I made this for the following challenges

Pixie's Snippets Playground 'use snippets'

Your Next Stamp 'lots of layers'

Sunday Stamps 'getting sketchy'

Cute Card Thursday 'anything goes'

That's it from me today. Got a few ideas still rattling around in my head so if Mojo sticks around then I shall be back next week with some more. Thanks for popping by and please stay safe.

Totally adorable! I love the shaker eye -- it really adds to the card. And I always love the punny sentiments. Thanks for joining Sunday Stamps this week.

Lol, what a cute image, your coloring is so light and fresh! And such pretty papers to show him off, too - there can never be enough googly eyes, lol. Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!

Reading all that on lie activity exhausted me as Andrea, but it's becoming a way of life I think. I repeatedly go back and emend my order and every time expect to get a message to say I've exceeded how many times it's allowed - I wonder if there is a max?

A fun hip hoppy (sorry!!) creation, but very sweet and brings a smile.

This made me smile Andrea, as did your whole post actually...I feel your pain, I have been trawling (online) shops for, would you believe it, some new bras!! So difficult when you can't pop into M&S and try them on!! xx

LOL, we'd love the chance to get 'Shoppers Foot' wouldn't we?! But online shopping will do us as in the meantime... Love your little chameleon with his/her googly eye. That half and half paper background is a brilliant idea too. Vicky x

What a fun card Andrea! Such a cute chameleon - ha, I thought it looked really familiar then realised I have the same stamp set (Your Next Stamp). Will email back to you ASAP btw.

I'm getting thoroughly fed up with juggling grocery orders on line. At least we can get them more easily. Supposed to be doing an archery club quiz this evening using Zoom. If I can see through my fringe!

Hugs
