Leaping Snippets

I think Mojo is exhausted after all the trio's of inspiration and I've only got one card today, and a short post (I can hear your sighs of relief from here!)

I used a cute little chap playing leap frog from MFT 'you gnome me' coloured with my usual Promarkers and cut with the matching dies. The background die is Tim Holtz and the grass die is Elizabeth Craft. I've not added a sentiment yet as I'm not sure what occasion to make it... any ideas? (it will be heading off to the local charity shop with a few more)

I've made this for the following challenges

Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge 'use your snippets'  All except the kraft card base were snippets of card

MFT Color challenge

Inkspirational challenge 'leap'

That's it from me.... I'm off to find Mojo as there are a few more challenges that have caught my eye. Thank you so much for popping by today and for all the lovely comments you leave. Enjoy your weekend.

A Trio..... Again!

Here I am with another trio of cards.... I'm not sure what's happening lately but when I find some challenges that inspire me Mojo seems to be splitting them into three teams in my head and while I have the ideas I have to go with them!

First I have a birthday card. The background is Uniko 'background blocks party confetti' (stamped onto pearlescent card), the little teds are LOTV stamps coloured with Promarkers, the sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers (sadly no longer trading) and to finish off I added 3 tiny pearls to the bottom corner.

This is for the following challenges

Passion for Promarkers challenge 'use 3 of something'  3 images, 3 tiny pearls

Simon Says Wednesday challenge 'add a sentiment'

Stamping Sensations challenge 'feminine'

Allsorts challenge 'make it girly'

Time Out challenge 'inspired by words'

A very CAS design for my second card using some tiny stamps from Uniko 'flower power #1' and a sentiment from Uniko 'hello lovely'

This is for the following challenges

CAS Colors & Sketches challenge 'colors'

Less Is More challenge 'more (but still CAS)'

Double D challenge 'saying hello'

My final card is another very CAS design using a digi stamp from Uniko and again coloured with my usual Promarkers with touches of Sakura glitter and white pens and Wink of Stella.

This is for the following challenges

Seize the Birthday challenge 'show me your white space'

Addicted to CAS challenge 'cake'

AAA Cards challenge 'one corner + optional twist love those older supplies'  I've had this digi for some time but never got around to using it before

Uniko's 8th Birthday Linky Party! 'make a birthday card'

That's it from me for now, I'm off to do a bit of housework - can't put it off any longer! Maybe if I can get get done super quick I may be able to persuade Mojo to come for a crafty play later. Thanks so much for taking the time to pop round.... I really appreciate your visits.

Birthdays

I'm here with a couple of birthday cards today. The first features a House Mouse decoupage, paper from my stash and a Tattered Lace 'happy birthday' die. A pretty simple design to let the little meecies take centre stage!

I shall enter this in the following

House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge 'anything goes or the option of more than one fold'

Time Out challenge 'inspired by words'

After a prompt from Sarah I'm also heading over to link this up at The Cutie Pie challenge with the theme of 'cute and cuddly'

My second card is the one I made for my granddaughters birthday...... she is loving tigers, lions and giraffes at the moment! I used an assortment of stamps coloured with Promarkers but as I hadn't got all of the dies to match I ended up fussy cutting most of them (I think that may have been the cause of my neck and shoulder problems!) I made up the scene and added some clouds and I also made a little scene on the inside with space to write the message. The photos aren't very good and the colouring looks a bit strange as I was in a rush to take the photos and had to shine a lamp on it (at night).

and here's the inside

I shall enter this in the following challenges

Penny Black and More challenge 'animals, birds and butterflies'

Passion for Promarkers challenge 'use 3 of something' 3 clouds and 3 tigers on front of card

AAA Birthday challenge 'cute'

Addicted to Stamps and More challenge 'make your mark'

Thanks for popping by and for taking the time to leave me a comment.... I really do appreciate it.

Uniko and Snippets

Hi everyone, just another quick post from me again today.... but before I get on to my card I want to tell you about the amazing giveaway over on the Uniko blog. If you haven't already seen it Bev is having an 8th Birthday Celebration HUGE giveaway and I can assure you it is a really amazing prize to win as I was last years very lucky winner.

and here are photos of the 24 wonderful stamp sets I received.

February release

 May release

July release

October release

January release

Thank you so much Bev, I'm still doing a 'happy dance' here.

They are all wonderful stamps to ink up - I've had such a lot of fun playing with them and I know I'm going to have a lot more fun as and when inspiration strikes.... so expect to see more of them over the next few months. I especially love the 'season of beauty' (poinsettia), the outlined sentiments are great and the 'background blocks scandinavian christmas' is perfect for batch-makes. If you haven't already done so then you should pop over to the Uniko blog and add your name and keep your fingers crossed!

Now for my card using Uniko stamps 'background blocks horizontal stripe' and 'big & bold wish' and also the 'big & bold wish' dies. I used snippets of white card for stamping and coloured card for the die-cut candles so I'm heading over to Pixie's Snippets Playground where Miss Di challenges us to use our snippets.

That's all from me for now. Thanks for taking the time to pop by and also for your lovely comments. My neck and shoulder are slowly getting back to normal so I'll hopefully be round to visit you all soon.

Another Trio

A quick post from me today as I've had a dodgy neck and shoulder for the past week or so and I'm having to limit computer time to a bare minimum - I hate getting old and all the aches and pains that go with it!

All my cards today are made with Uniko goodies and stamped with the Misti and Memento inks. The butterfly on the first card was coloured with Promarkers and given a  good Wink of Stella.

Using 'english country garden butterflies' (plus matching die), 'background blocks mid century modern II' and 'big & bold happy'

Uniko's 8th Birthday Linky Party! 'create a birthday card'

Penny Black and More challenge 'animals, birds and butterflies'

Stamping Sensations challenge 'feminine'

Using 'background blocks mid century modern' and 'always & forever' (a new release)

Double D challenge 'hearts'

Time Out challenge 'affection'

Using new release sets - 'you are sentiments outlined' and a couple of tiny hearts from 'big & bold love'

The Sisterhood of Crafters challenge 'newly acquired stash'

Moving Along With The Times challenge 'no image - sentiment/quote as focus to your card'

CASology challenge 'sweetheart'

Less is More challenge 'less (tiny & few)'

AAA Cards challenge 'up to one third + optional twist hearts'

That's it from me for now, I'm off for a gentle stroll to the local shops. Thanks for popping by today and for taking the time to leave a comment... I really do appreciate it.

Mo's Digital Pencil GDT

Hi everyone, it's February 1st and time for a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil. As I was the lucky winner of the December challenge I have been given the opportunity of joining them this month as guest designer.

The theme for this challenge is 'Love'..... and I couldn't resist using this sweet Mo image called 'kissing frogs' coloured with my usual Promarkers. I used a Dovecraft punch to make a border across the top of the image before matting onto some coloured card, then I added some ribbon and a bow  and attached it all with sticky pads to the card base, finishing off with a die-cut heart that I'd stamped with a sentiment.

I shall enter this in the following challenges

Simon Says Wednesday challenge 'snything goes'

Simon Says Monday challenge 'all loved up'

Passion for Promarkers challemge 'for a child/children images'

Time Out challenge 'affectionate'

Thanks for popping by today. It would be great if you could pop over to the challenge and see the fabulous creations from the DT and maybe even get your Mo images out and join in the fun,
