The theme is Embellishments (use two or more) with the optional twist of One Layer (but this is only an option) and the challenge is sponsored by the lovely people over at Birch Press Design. I'd love it if you could hop over to Time Out challenge and check out the fabulous creations from the very talented DT....... and if you want to join in the fun the challenge runs until April 24th
For my card I decided to go for a 'sort of' one layer design! I cut and folded a piece of vellum to fit round a card blank (basically making it an insert) then I traced a Uniko digistamp freebie onto the vellum using a white Sakura pen and coloured it with Promarkers. I stamped a sentiment from the Uniko 'flower power #4' set before tying a piece of ribbon (which I'd coloured with Promarkers to match the image) around both the card blank and vellum. To finish off I added some gems.
I shall enter this in the following challenges ~
Uniko challenge 'spring, optional twist easter'
CAS on Friday challenge 'spring'
Country View challenge 'easter and/or spring'
Addicted to Stamps and More challenge 'anything goes'
TCP Tuesday challenge 'spring'
Thanks for popping by today and I hope you'll be able to join in the fun at Time Out (don't forget to check the rules and details on the challenge blog)

We are delighted to have you as GD and with such an amazing card. What a creative way to make this nearly a one layer. I have never tried this but it sure looks good. Such fresh and pretty colours. And to colour the ribbon was an inspired idea. We can't wait to see what you come up with next week. Thanks for being our GD x
Beautiful make Andrea, the image and card look really delicate.

This is such a clever idea and really effective. I have never thought of colouring ribbon with alcohol markers. I shall have to try it. I love this card, simple and colourful. You can't beat yellow and green xx

Echoing the others: your daffodil is beautiful and has all the more impact with the way you've used vellum! Thrilled to see your creativity in the Uniko gallery!
