NBUS + Snippets

Hello everyone, I do hope that you are all keeping safe and well in whatever corner of the world you are. We're okay but just feeling a bit lost with the uncertainty of what the rest of the year will hold.... I should have been spending time booking flights and planning a holiday for later in the year with our daughter and granddaughter but that has all been put on hold until goodness knows when. I've only just managed to coax Mojo out of self-isolation to make a card with some NBUS goodies and snippets. This will be heading off to Australia at some point to my little Miss Cutie Pie.

I used MFT 'sunshine and friendship' stamps, coloured with Promarkers and cut with the matching dies and 'horizontal snowdrifts cover up' die for the background, with a sentiment from 'polynesian paradise'. As all of this was NBUS goodies I'm heading over to join in Darnell's newly resurrected NBUS challenge with it's own brand new blog (which she set up with help from Loll). It's a monthly challenge, a place to show off our new and old NBUS goodies and to give each other inspiration (and no doubt encourage us to add more to our 'really must have that' list!

As I used snippets of Neenah cardstock for the stamping and snippets of coloured card and paper for the background I'm skipping (rather late this fortnight) over to Pixie's Snippets Playground to see Miss Di and the playmates and no doubt see more to add to my 'must have' list.

I'm also joining in with the Country View challenge where the theme this month is 'animal magic'.

On another note  - we managed to get a click and collect slot from Sainsburys on Monday evening and we even got a pack of toilet rolls.......... but NONE of the chocolates I'd ordered. I'm not sure about you but I'd say chocolate is definitely an ESSENTIAL item!

Thanks for popping by today and for taking the time to leave me a comment, I really appreciate it and will be over to visit you all soon. Take care.

Bless you Andrea, booking a holiday will be all the more fun for having had to wait for it! In the meantime, I'm impressed that your mojo has joined you in a big way! Loving this gorgeous card with all the fun animals spending time at the beach. Very impressed that you got a Sainsburys delivery slot. We too have found a pack of magical loo roll! I like that very dark bitter chocolate (eaten with frozen cherries -yum!) and so far that hasn't been a problem to get, but there are plenty of Easter eggs on the shelves... just saying! Take care and keep your chin up! Vicky xx

So this is what all the Zoo animals are getting up to with the gates shut to the public.! Great card to send off to Oz. Should have been looking forward to spending my birthday in Italy in May.Don’t think we will be getting out there this year. Very worrying times are are all in at present. Stay safe. Hugs Mrs A.

This is sure to cheer your little Miss no end, it's gorgeous!! It is certainly a scary time Andrea and goodness knows how long it will take the UK to recover but for now, it is day by day...and plenty of chocolate!! xx

It's heartbreaking for grandparents and grandchildren not to be able to see each other during this scary pandemic, but needs must. The important thing is for you to be here to go to her next year. Thank goodness we live in a time where we can video chat. But not having chocolate?! I mean c'mon! Womens are going to riot over that! I hope you get some soon. If that were me, Kevin would be out driving from state to state to get me chocolate for HIS sake, lol!!

I have to tell you, your card really made me smile and I needed that! I think it's beyond clever how you turned that cover die meant for snow hills into a perfect water and beach scene! Genius! And the fun critters are a hoot in their little floaties! Keep safe and take care! And thank you so much for using your NBUS and linking up!! Hugs, Darnell

That's a lovely cheery card Andrea. Glad to hear your mojo has returned.

Yes . . . chocolate is DEFINITELY AN ESSENTIAL FOOD ITEM . . . even more so at present! How dare the supermarket deprive you of it! LOL!

What a super card Andrea - it will be well loved for sure! Just think how wonderful it will be when this is finally over and you get your holiday in Oz. So many people are in similar situations this year. The mani thing is to stay safe and well.
