Twofer Christmas

As promised I'm back with my Twofer cards using the new release stamps from Uniko I've been having fun playing with (they really are fabulous stamps)

Over at the Twofer card challenge there is a bit of a twist this month and along with holiday greenery we're allowed to make two cards for the same occasion as long as they are different designs.

I used Uniko 'season of beauty' for my first card. I stamped the Poinsettia on a snippet of white card, then fussy cut it out and gave it a good helping of sparkle with a Wink of Stella brush before sticking it in place with glue dots.

I shall enter this in

Allsorts challenge 'christmas flowers'

Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge 'use your snippets'

Penny Black and More challenge 'christmas'

As You Like It challenge 'cute or traditional xmas and why'  Cute is nice but when making christmas cards I love the traditional colours and images - and also they are more suited to the people I send to

Time Out challenge 'photo inspiration'  I was inspired by the colours, greenery of the wreath and words

My Twofer uses the same greenery stamped across a piece of card with a sentiment from Uniko 'festive sentiments outlined' heat embossed in gold and then I matted it onto some gold mirricard. It was after stamping the greenery that I decided to go with the christmas theme again as I know I'll be running short but this stamp would definitely be brilliant for so many different occasions

I shall enter this in

Uniko challenge 'christmas, optional twist tree'

Stamping Sensations challenge 'traditional christmas colours - red, green, gold'

Country View challenge 'hand stamped'

So that's another two cards ready but I really must make a start on the one for my granddaughter as last day for christmas posting overseas will be here pretty soon.... followed closely by christmas! Thanks for popping by today, I love reading your comments and do appreciate the time you take to visit, especially this time of year when things are starting to get a bit hectic.

The matting on that second Christmas card is beautiful, Andrea! It really elevates the airy and light gorgeous greenery! I agree with you that it could be used for many designs and occasions! It certainly looks elegant behind your bold and bright poinsettia! Again, I love the deckle edging and sediment! Can't wait to see the card you make for Asher! I need to get cracking on Adam's and Henry's birthday cards as well as Christmas! Thank you very much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #22! Happy Holidays! Hugs, Darnell

Lovely Christmas cards, Andrea! That Uniko poinsettia is so pretty, and I love the sparkle you've given it. Those fronds are the perfect green, and the sentiment is 'just right.' But I love what you've done with the gold around the border of your second card. It pulls the eye right in for a nice little stroll around your card. And that 'hollow' sentiment adds the perfect finishing touch. Thank you so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge. Bev
