Uniko Twofer

Hi everyone, as promised I'm back with some more Uniko makes using a new stamp set as well as a couple of older ones to join in with Darnell's Twofer challenge

The theme this month is 'balloons' so the stamp I've used for both of my cards is Uniko's 'balloon bash'

My Onefer ~

I used both balloons in the set and also the new Uniko 'big and bold happy' and after matting onto some coloured card I added the die-cut numbers. The camera seems to be playing tricks today as the inking looks patchy in the photo but in real life it looks fine... I think maybe it's the texture of the card I used or maybe my eyesight is getting very bad!

I'm entering this in the following challenges

Time Out challenge 'hugs, kisses and a lot of birthday wishes'

Color Throwdown challenge 'light blue, brown and orange'

Country View Crafts challenge 'letters and/or numbers'

My Twofer ~

I used just the round balloon this time along with the stars, ribbon and string that are in the set, as well as a sentiment from Uniko's 'most wonderful' stamp set. Some matting onto gold card and then I added a gem to hide the fact that I hadn't stamped the string straight !

It's turned very chilly here so I'm off to switch up the heating and then try to make good use of what's left of the weekend. Thanks for taking the time to pop by today, it was lovely to have you visit.

Great use of the challenges for your two superb designs, Andrea! I wouldn't think to use those colors on your birthday and that just shows what I know, cuz they look sensational together! And I love the big bold sediment for this milestone occasion. As for your Christmas card, I'm really gobsmacked at how divine that round balloon looks as an ornament! Way to show everyone how to stretch their goodies! I also love how you added the stars to make it look even more like an ornament and that bow was a perfect choice. The double gold matting finished it off very elegantly! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #14! Hugs, Darnell

Gorgeous cards, Andrea! Brilliant idea to use the balloon stamp as an ornament!

P.S. Thank you for noticing my snowflake die-cuts - the small snowflakes were the ones I won in your candy! I'm really enjoying them!

What a great balloon-y background, Andrea ... puts me in mind of those nets of ballons that have been released to celebrate a special event ... like this 40th birthday! Fabulous idea to turn the round balloon into an ornament for Christmas ... it looks magical with the starry stamping and gold border! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer ... and at Time Out! Anita :)

Wonderful Twofer, Andrea! I love how you used the color combination with those festive balloons on your birthday card. Your Christmas ornament is so creative and looks wonderful with the darling string. I think the gem on the strings was just the perfect touch with or without the stamping issue.
