Bright and Cheery

Hi everyone, hope all is well with you in whichever corner of Blogland you are.

I'm having a bit of a slow start to the year craftwise but I did have a bit of fun making this card using some of my old JOFY stamps coloured with my trusty Promarkers. I stamped and cut extra pieces so that I could layer up the flowers and large leaf and used a Sakura glaze pen to give them a bit of a pop. The image was cut with the largest hexagonal die I have and as I wanted to make a hexagonal card I had to hand cut the base and layers (so don't look to closely at the photo!) To finish I added a couple of embellishments from my stash. I think I may have to hunt down some larger hexgon dies as I rather like the card shape.

I shall enter this in the following challenges

Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge 'use snippets' coloured card and white card for stamping

Stamping Sensations challenge 'all things bright and beautiful'

Penny Black and More challenge 'anything goes with the option of tags'

Passion for Promarkers challenge 'flora and fauna'

Edited to add: after a prompt from Mrs A I'm heading over to join the Butterfly challenge where the theme is 'spin the wheel with the letter K'

Thanks for popping by today and I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.

A fabulous card - I also like the hexagon shape as it's unusual but also has nice clean lines.

An elegant shape Kanda, you did well to create the card using only the largest die you had, great colouring on the image

Love the freshness of this Andrea, so spring like and clean. Great cutting I have to say and I love your layering of those pretty flowers. I have the Sue Wilson hexagons...large dies and not cheap....I think they may be pierced too!
Hope all good with you. xx
