Birthdays and Bees

Hi everyone, firstly I want to apologise to anyone in the UK who is experiencing anything less than glorious sunshine as I believe the garden parasol we purchased the other day may be the cause of the change in the weather..... we've not used it once yet!

Anyways, I can't believe I'm back again so soon with a couple more cards to show you. First up is a 5x5 inch card with a LOTV stamp coloured with Promarkers and cut into a circle. Then the layout came from jiggling about a snippet of paper I'd got and then chopping the side off the circle before finally stamping the Uniko sentiment.

I shall head over to the following challenges with this

Pixie's Snippets Playground 'use your snippets'

AAA Cards 'the Big Birthday bash'

CAS on Friday 'birthday'

CAS-ual Fridays 'birthday celebrations'

Passion for Promarkers 'birthday creations'   my 2nd entry

Penny Black and More 'anything goes'   my 2nd entry

For my twofer I've used a House Mouse (Happy Hoppers) decoupage that I made up some time ago when I was in the mood for sitting with the scissors and cutting away quietly. I managed to find a sheet of purple paper with little yellow dots, the last little bit of yellow ribbon and a few yellow flowers as well as some purple rhinestones to pop in the middles... so a bit of sticking and job done!
I must admit that after all these years I'm still a sucker for these cute little critters as they are perfect for cards to delight the young and old alike.

I shall head over to the following challenges with this

Allsorts  'insects, bugs, bees and butterflies.

As You Like It  'flora or fauna and why' I do love flowers but they just can't compete with these cute critters!

I'm doing pretty well with my clear out and hopefully when I've got a clearer cupboard and workspace it will keep me craftily motivated. Thanks for popping by and I hope you have a great week and for those of you in the UK I hope you enjoy the rest of the long weekend.

Friday, 25 May 2018

Hi everyone and thanks for popping by today. I know I've been missing for a while but it was due to all this fabulous sunshine we've been having as well as getting to grips with my new laptop and getting on with all of those boring jobs that just can't be put off any longer. Mojo also decided to do a complete disappearing act and I did start wondering whether or not I wanted to carry on with blogging as I feel like I've been chasing my tail the last few months..... but I've decided to carry on for a while longer as my Dad's house will finally be someone else's at the end of the month and then maybe I'll feel more motivated.

In the meantime I've started another (more serious) clean out of my crafty stash and in the process put together this threefer to join in with a few challenges - and to be quite honest there is only one of these cards I enjoyed making.

First is a birthday card using a Mo Manning image coloured with Promarkers, a LOTV sentiment and papers, ribbon and gems from my stash.

I shall enter this in the following challenges

Allsorts 'happy birthday'

Passion for Promarkers 'birthday creations'

Cupcake Inspirations 'pastels'

Addicted to Stamps 'ribbons galore'

Let's Craft and Create 'anything goes + option lace, ribbon, twine

Second uses an NBUS Woodware stamp coloured with Promarkers. I know this stamp looks much better when it is paper pieced but to be quite honest I just couldn't be bothered so I just added a TH die-cut foam snowflake,

I shall enter this in the following challenges

Country View 'be humourous'

Penny Black and More 'anything goes'

Rudolph Days 'May challenge'

And finally my threefer snippets make which is 5x5 inch and uses only leftover card and stuff from my stash (which has now been reduced in size and fits neatly in labelled boxes). This is the only card I really enjoyed making and I'm popping it in my satchel and skipping over to see Miss Di, Parsnip and the Playmates over at Pixie's Snippets Playground

and here's a glimpse of the inside

Thanks for your visit and continued support and I hope 'normal service will be resumed as soon as possible' Until then I hope you all have a wonderful crafty weekend and hopefully some wonderful weather for the Bank Holiday,

Santa's Helper

What a change in the weather and how lovely to be able to sit out in the garden. The washing machine has been working overtime as anything that can be washed has been washed and hung out on the line to dry - I still can't understand why it gives me so much pleasure to dry the washing outside! The downside to this lovely weather is the weeding we've got to do at my Dad's house as I'm certain prospective buyers don't want to be greeted by foot-high dandelions along the driveway, no matter how bright and cheerful they look!

Anyway enough of my waffling as I'm here to show off some new goodies I treated myself to in the shape of MFT 'Santa's Elves' stamp set and matching dies. I used my usual Promarkers to colour the tree and one of the elves (there are 3 in the set) with Stickles on the fur and a glitter sakura pen for the star and hat bell. The scalloped circle was die-cut from glitter paper that had been stuck to some card and the plain circle was die-cut and then run through with a dotty embossing folder to give it a bit of texture. I used one of the sentiments from the stamp set and after I put it all together I added some pearls and gemstones.

and here's one that shows the glitter a bit better

I'm heading over to the following challenges

MFT Sketch challenge
this sketch

ABC Christmas challenge 'H for hats and/or I for ice'

As You Like It challenge 'favourite colouring medium and why' (my 2nd entry - my trusty Promarkers always work well for me)

Allsorts challenge 'use pearls'

and as I used snippets of card and glitter paper I shall head over to Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge to see Miss Di, Parsnip and the other Playmates

That's all from me today - we're off to do some shopping and as I'm still limping along with my very sick laptop we'll also head into PC World and hopefully get me a new one. Thanks for popping by today and I will be round to catch up with you all just as soon as I can.... even if I have to liberate Hubby's tablet to do the job.

Spring... At Last

Well I hope you all survived Friday the 13th without anything too disasterous happening! I had a quiet day making sure I didn't do anything to tempt bad luck and instead inked up some of my new stamps and made a card for a few spring themed challenges. I've gone for a one layer card for a change and used a Penny Black stamp 'Potted Flowers' which I coloured with my usual Promarkers, with chalks for the background and I added a Wink of Stella - a gift from a wonderful blogging friend - on the butterflies. I'm really not very adventurous with my colouring mediums and always end up going back to my trusty Promarkers for colouring images - not only do they work for me but I have quite a collection of colours that would like to use before they start drying out (I've already had to throw a few away) !

I'm entering this in the following challenges ~

As You Like It 'favourite colouring medium and why'

Time Out 'spring + optional twist one layer'

Allsorts 'spring flowers or showers'

Love To Scrap 'April showers bring May flowers'

Words 2 Craft By 'the promise of April'

That's it from me for today, I'm off to enjoy the rest of this warm sunny day and check out all the plants and flowers that are beginning to wake up after the loooong winter. Thanks for popping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Peaceful Winter

What a week this is turning out to be.... aching back, neck and hands and a laptop that is literally only just surviving and is even held together with tape as the Glossy Accents didn't manage to do the repair job! Every time I switch it on I'm just keeping those aching fingers crossed that it'll start up and live a bit longer until my new one arrives next week. Then I'll have Windows 10 to get used and oh what fun I can imagine that will be!

But I have got a card to show you today that I made for a couple of challenges and also to try out one of my new Penny Black stamps called 'Peaceful Winter' which has several stamps in the set. I've gone for a very CAS design using one of the stamps inked with black and green Memento inks and then clear embossed. Up to this stage things were going okay, I'd trimmed and matted the image onto some green cardstock and stuck it to a card blank and then I decided to stamp the sentiment - from the Penny Black 'Sweetest Moments' set - straight onto the card. The black ink isn't so juicy (must buy another when I go shopping) so I was reinking the sentiment and even though I was using my (brand new) TH stamping platform I managed to move the card slightly on the third inking... OOPS!  Hubby said it looks as though it is a shadow and is okay and IRL it actually does look like that but the photo shows all and I think I may try to salvage things and stamp (more carefully) a new sentiment to cut out and cover this one.

I made this for the following challenges

Allsorts 'be there or be square'

Penny Black and More 'black and white plus one'

Thanks for popping by today and for taking the time to leave a comment. I'll be round to visit you all as soon as I can but will have too take things slowly as I'm having to carefully nurse this old laptop of mine through it's last few days and hopefully until my new one arrives !!

Uniko Stripes and Gerberas

I'm here today with a card I made for the Uniko challenge which has a colour theme with the optional twist of easter, but as easter has now passed us by I've just gone for the colours. I've used the Uniko 'Background Blocks Horizontal Stripes' inked with Memento Dewdrop inks and Uniko 'Pure Florals Gerbera' coloured with pencils and cut with the matching die (I'm so glad I treated myself to that) and to finish I added some Card Candi coloured with a Promarker. I decided against adding a sentiment at this stage and will add one depending on the occasion when I come to send it.

Edited to add:

A very dear blogging friend has brought to my notice that this may not have been the best of photos (taking photos of cards is not one of my strong points) so I'm adding another brighter one

I also managed to incorporate all of the colours in the palette in my card

I've got a few more fabulous uninked Uniko stamps and stencils to have a play with so will have more to show you over the next or so. Thanks for popping by today and for the taking the time to leave a comment and I hope you all have a great weekend.

Spring Snippets

Morning everyone, hope you've all had a great bank holiday weekend. We've not had any snow but it is very miserable and wet today so more indoors playtime again.

I'm hopping over to see the Playmates with this card for Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge which was made entirely from snippets. The stamp is Penny Black 'Tulip Queue' and is actually larger than you see here but the piece of card I stamped on was a small square snippet. I coloured with my usual Promarkers and tied a leftover piece of ribbon around it. The piece of gingham paper was another snippet as was the kraft card I used to die-cut the butterfly. Just a couple of gems and some pearls and job done as I decided to leave it without a sentiment so I'll be able to use it for any occasion.

and here's the stamp full size

I'm also entering this in

Passion for Promarkers challenge 'gorgeous gingham and perfect plaids'

CAS-ual Fridays challenge 'spring fever'

Well that's it from me for today, I'm off to see what other goodies the online shops can tempt me to buy - well with miserable weather like this we have to cheer ourselves up somehow and I've already eaten my choccie eggs! Thanks for popping by and I hope you have a fun day, whatever you may be getting up to.

Easter and Christmas

Happy easter to you all and I hope you're enjoying the long weekend. It's raining here but at least we've not had more snow like some areas have and as it means that I won't be able to get out in the garden I shall have to have a crafty play instead.

Here's a quick 6x4 inch easter card I've made with snippets of LOTV paper, a Sylvia Zet topper, flowers, gems and a sentiment left over from a decoupage sheet.

I made this for

Let's Craft and Create challenge 'anything goes + option easter'

Country View challenge 'postcard 6x4 inch size'

Next up is my first christmas card of the year which I made for March Rudolph Days challenge. I used my new Penny Black stamp 'Santa's Visit' along with the Misti. My first attempt was to use TH distress markers to colour the stamp a bit at a time but I gave up part way through as I was getting it all wrong! So next attempt was to lightly stamp the whole image with Memento London Fog and then I found it much easier to add the colour with the distress markers, although I'm still not happy with the way the sky turned out. I matted the image onto some metallic card and then onto a hammered effect card base, before finally adding some Stickles.

Don't you just love holidays and the emails you get tempting you to buy with the promise of a discount...... and yes I have already given in and placed orders for some new Uniko and MFT goodies! So now I'd better get off and have a play with some more of my NBUS stamps - while scoffing on an easter egg or two! Thanks for popping by and I hope you have a great weekend.

Butterfly Snippets

Good morning to you all on this cold and frosty Sunday. I know it's a great excuse to stay inside and do a bit of crafting but honestly I would love spring to come out of hiding, wouldn't you?

But less of the complaining and onto my card. Using a snippet of white card I cut a Penny Black Glamorous die and I left the die in place while I coloured it with some Flexmarkers that were to hand - the stems are very fragile and the flower head easily breaks off, which I found out with my first attempt. Then I stamped a Clearly Besotted sentiment onto a snippet of cream card and stuck it all together before finally adding my butterfly. A very quick and CAS card and another NBUS item (PB die) used.

Edited for my bad grammar and typing: what I actually meant to say was that after I'd die cut the flower I took the die off and instead of pushing the flower out from the card negative I left it in place whilst I coloured it to keep it a bit more secure. Thinking about it now I could have tried sticking it onto a post-it pad or low tack tape to keep it secure at the fragile point where the stem and petals meet.

I made this for

Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge 'use your snippets'

Butterfly challenge 'spin the wheel with the letter L' I managed lavender, lemon, layers, letters

Now I'm off to find Mojo and maybe get my inspiration and creative jusices flowing for a few more challenges. Take care and keep warm (or cold) depending on whereabouts in Blogland you are and thanks for popping by today.

New Home

Hey the sun is shining here today so does that mean spring is finally coming out of hiding? This has been the longest winter for me starting last September when Hubby was rushed into hospital for emergency surgery and with everything else that's happened since I don't seem to have got anything organised! I was quite optimistic when I posted my last card that I was getting on top of things and even got some stamping and colouring done.... but then those dreaded germs jumped out and caught me unawares.  Fingers and toes and everything else crossed I think I've finally shaken them off and can start again!

Anyway enough of my waffling on - here's a card I made using snippets of card and a Poppystamps die 'Country House' and 'Country House roof and background'. I cut the background from snippets of coloured card and inlaid them into a piece of white card, then added the other pieces on top before layering onto green card and the card blank. I used chalks to give a bit of colour to the sky and ground but (as usual) it doesn't show up on the photo. After searching through all my stamps I've only just realised that I've got no new home sentiments so that'll have to be added when I've been on a shopping trip!

I've made this for the following challenges

Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge 'use your snippets'

Time Out challenge 'bold'

Poppy challenge 'clean and simple'

Edited: after a nudge from Darnell I'm also entering this in

Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge 'home'

Thanks for popping by today and I'll be around to catch up with you all over the next few days.

Uniko Birthday

Well after thinking we may have got away with just a few snow flurries that didn't settle we woke up to a thick blanket of snow this morning. I've now got Hubby trying to clear off and get the car started so we can go and check on my Dad's house and turn his heating up a bit higher.

If you hadn't already heard, Uniko are celebrating and are having a 6th Birthday Linky Party over on their blog. I've made a card using Uniko stamps from 'Big and Bold Wish' and 'Simply Said Birthday' along with Uniko 'Scattered Polka Dots' stencil.

I followed the sketch over at CAS Colours and sketches

and I'm also joining the challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

I hope you're all keeping fit and well, and for those of you in the cold and snow I hope you're managing to snug and warm as well. Thanks for popping by today.

Snippets and B's

Hello to you all on this very cold but sunny day. I'm planning on having a restful weekend with the heating switched up and a bit of crafting to amuse myself.

I've made a card using snippets of ribbon, card and paper and the last three of my larger flowers. I started with the flowers and the snippet of ribbon - it was a case of use them or bin them - then I found the piece of green spotty paper and I'd already cut my new TH background die from a snippet of card when I first got it to see what it looked like, and after a tiny bit of cutting to size and sticking in place I'd got the start of the card. Next up was trying different nesting dies (they'd already been cut from snippets and kept in a box for when they were needed) and I settled on a TH stitched oval and also a Cheery Lyn butterfly with a couple of gems added. So after stamping the Clearly besotted sentiment I stuck the last two bits in place to finish the card. I know it was a very back to front way of doing things but it's just the way things happen sometimes!

I'm heading over to the following challenges with this

Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge 'use your snippets'

Allsorts challenge 'I spy something beginning with B'  Blooms, Bow, Butterfly

Let's Craft and Create challenge 'anything goes + option mother's day/mother'

Thanks for popping by today and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Something Old, Something New

Hi everyone, welcome to another weekend and I can't believe we're halfway through a second month already!

The first ever Uniko stamp I had was the fabulous Pure Florals: Gerbera set (something old) that I won over in Pixie's Snippets Playground - it became the start of a collection that has it's own box in the crafty cupboard - and I recently saw the matching die set (something new) on offer so I decided to treat myself. I stamped and die-cut the solid flowers and then picked a sentiment from the Uniko 'simply said birthday' set which I stamped straight onto a piece of hammered effect card using the Misti. When I first started card making I would computer generate most of my sentiments but now I prefer hand stamped as I've built up such a good collection to pick from. After matting on pink card and sticking to the card base all I had to do was add a few sequins to finish it off.

I shall head over to the following challenges with this

Uniko challenge 'something old, something new + option love'

Stamping Sensations challenge 'anything with flowers'

As You Like It challenge 'favourite way to add a sentiment and why'

Edited to add another challenge ~

Uniko 6th Birthday Linky Party where you have to make a birthday card to join in the fun

Thanks for popping by and for taking the time to leave me a few words. I hope you all have a super weekend whatever your plans are.

Twofer Hearts

Morning to you all, hope things are well with you today. Darnell's second Twofer challenge has started and the theme this month is hearts. Now as you have to make two cards of different designs using the same stamp or die I've also set myself the challenge of using NBUS, old stash or (as in this case) a not so loved stamp. I bought this stamp last year and it's only been used once as I wasn't too keen on the card I made and as I'm still having a clear out I thought I'd give it another go before deciding it's fate. The stamp I've used is 'Penny Black Valentine Dance' and the butterflies have lots of little hearts on them.

so I'm heading over to the Twofer challenge with these

Here's my 'Onefer' which also uses the sentiment that comes in the set. I used a Sakura glitter pen on the hearts and Dovecraft punch for the border.

here's a close up but it still doesn't show the glitter!

This one's heading over to the following challenges

Allsorts challenge 'love is in the air' (my second entry)

AAA Cards challenge 'all you need is love'

So now for my 'Twofer' - again I wasn't too impressed with my first card and thought about maybe embossing the butterflies to give them a bit more ooomph as I'd originally planned on making an anniversary card, but that still didn't fill me with any enthusiasm.

At this stage I had come to the conclusion that I wasn't going to be able to get this stamp to work for me so next step was to change course completely and I started by stamping on a snippet of card, colouring with Promarkers and then cutting out the wings to see what they looked like. Mmmm..... out came the Sakura pen again to give the hearts a bit of glitter and I thought I may as well carry on and see where this would lead me. Next I stamped onto some more card and coloured again using Promarkers and the glitter pen and then attached the wings, so far not looking too bad but still lacking something and then I had that 'eureka' moment and realised that butterflies need flowers - so another PB stamp 'Jubilance' came to the rescue and I added a few flowers with Stickles centres along the bottom. Finally I stamped a PB birthday sentiment and then matted it onto some coloured card and a deckled edge card base. I much prefer my 'Twofer' so I've decided to hang on to this stamp for a while longer to see if I can find a bit of inspiration and give it a bit more love.

again, here's another close up but it still doesn't show the glitter and Stickles!

and this one's heading over to the following challenges

Penny Black and More challenge 'love, hearts and / or flowers'

Penny Black Saturday challenge 'anything goes + option use some scraps'

Country View challenge 'anything but cute'

Thanks for taking the time to pop by on this cold wet and miserable day (well that's what it's like here) and for taking the time to leave me a comment.

Lovebird Snippets

Hi everyone, Sorry I've been such a bad blogger this past fortnight, I really don't know where the days are going to.... we're well into February and I've only made one card and not even managed to get time to hop around Blogland to visit you all. Hopefully the clocks will slow down a bit next week and I'll be able to catch up with everyone.

Anyway here's my card using some of my very old stash and snippets of card, paper and ribbon. I had 3 strips of the paper so matted the widest onto a strip of white card and then stuck it to the base card with the thinner strips tucked underneath. The image is a Sylvia Zet Hobby House topper cut with a Tim Holtz oval die matted onto the next size up oval and from a snippet of ribbon I made a bow and wrapped the leftover bit around the larger oval and under the image. Then to finish I added some flowers. So my new resolution is to use up all my old toppers and flowers as well as all the tiny lengths of ribbon I have lying around.

I'm entering this in the following challenges

Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge 'use your snippets'

Allsorts challenge 'love is in the air'

Die Cut Divas challenge 'love is in the air'

Thanks for popping by today and I hope you all have a super weekend

Giveaway winners

Hi everyone, hope you're all feeling well and having a great weekend. As promised I'm back with the names of my folowers who have said they'll give a loving home to my 'not so loved by me' craft goodies. I wrote your names on pieces of paper and got hubby to pick one for each giveaway. I was going to take a photo of each piece of paper but the camera batteries have died on me so you'll just have to trust me this time.

So here we have it

Woodware stamps 'Christmas Hoot' and 'Huge Snow'

Penny Black stamp 'Jubilant'

Tattered Lace embossing folder, Snowflake die and LOTV toppers

Clearly Besotted stamp set 'simply quilled', Spellbinders Impressabilities 'flowers' and Memory Box stencil 'texture chicken wire'

Sugar Nellie 'snow family' and Poppystamps die 'frosty snowflake buttons'

Memory Box 'Lindemann Snowflake' die and a Hero Arts stamp

If you could send me your name and address to (at) then I'll get them out in the post to you next week.

I know it was only a few bits I cleared out but it actually feels so good to have done this as it makes a bit more space for my new goodies!

Uniko Butterflies

I can't believe a whole month has already passed us by this year. Last year I bought several new stamps and due to everything that happened over the past few months I've not got round to playing with them yet, so I've put them all in a single box on the top of the cupboard and I'm going to work my way through them before they get put in the craft cupboard and forgotten about.

Here's the first which is from Uniko called 'English Country Garden Butterflies' and which I stamped in two layers - first the solid butterfly with a lilac Memento ink and then the outline detail stamp with white embossing powder. I used my old Xcut nesting heart dies to cut the card and fixed it all with sticky pads and finally added a silver peel-off sentiment. As it's such a pale colour with so much white it was really hard to photograph and this was the best I could get.

I'm entering this in the following challenges

Uniko challenge 'something old, something new + optional twist love'

Inkspirational challenge 'word prompt attachment'

Thanks for popping by today and I hope you're all ready for the weekend and fingers crossed the weather plays nice for us.

Finally.... Birthday Card Made

I've finally got my granddaughter's birthday card made and hopefully it'll get there in time this year. Last year it took the scenic route from England to Australia via Spain courtesy of the Royal Mail (a 5 week journey instead of 5 days!)

The image is Mo Manning 'Lacie' coloured with Promarkers and chalks for the grass and sky. For some reason the chalks never show up in the photos but they are there IRL, and after taking the photos I realised that I'd forgotten the Sakura glaze on the sunspec lenses and Stickles on the ice cream so they've now been added. Papers are from Prima 'doodle deux' collection, the number 2 is a Die-namics die and the image and sentiment have been cut with Xcut nesting dies. I guess this has to be my favourite and most used die set as it's perfect for cutting and matting images. A bit of ribbon and a wooden butterfly from my stash and I was finally finished.

I shall head over to the following challenges with this

Noor Design UK challenge ' anything goes'
As You Like It challenge 'favourite die and why'
Paper Creator's Crafts challenge 'anything goes'

And another 'finally' - my last pre-loved candy (at least for the time being!) A Memory Box 'Lindemann Snowflake' die and a Hero Arts stamp. I'm not sure of the stamp name as it was originally wood-mounted but I de-wooded and put it onto cling foam. Please feel free to look back at the last three posts for my other pre-loved giveaways and if there's any you would like then just leave a message saying which and I'll put your name in the hat.

(The winner is Sandma's Handmade cards - claimed)

I'm now off for a walk to the Post Office with Asher's birthday card while it's dry and the sun is shining. Thanks for popping by today,

More pre-loved candy

Back again with a few more bits of pre-loved crafty stash to give away. As in the previous giveaways if you only want part of a bundle then I'm happy to split and hopefully they will find new homes that will give them some use.

First up - Clearly Besotted stamp set 'simply quilled', Spellbinders Impressabilities 'flowers' and a Memory Box stencil 'texture chicken wire' (this has sat in the cupboard for a few years and never been used)

(The winner is Liz - claimed)

and a bit more christmas - Sugar Nellie 'snow family' (I've cling mounted this stamp) and a Poppystamps die 'frosty snowflake buttons' (I won this in a challenge some time ago but never used it as I've got so many snowflakes that I could start a snowball fight!)

(The winner is KT Fit Kitty - claimed)

I've still got a couple more giveaways if you want to pop back tomorrow.

Penny Black + Others pre-loved candy

As promised I'm back today with some more pre-loved candy. If you're interested then leave me a comment below to let me know and also say if there is any you don't want so that can be picked for someone else. As I'm giving away a few bits which are older items that have been used and therefore probably not wanted by many people I've decided to pick winners for each lot independently - so basically if you put your name in the hat for yesterday and today then you could possibly end up winning both. For each candy I'll write all the names on a piece of paper and get Hubby to pick one out of the hat next Sunday.

First up is a Penny Black stamp 'Jubilant'. Well you probably already know how much I love Penny Black stamps and this one is no exception BUT after inking up and colouring a few times now I just don't seem to be able to get this beauty to work for me. It's hard to part with any Penny Black stamp but I think it really is time to let someone else have a go with this.

(The winner is Mrs A - claimed)

Second up - a Tattered Lace snowflake die, a Tattered Lace '12 days of christmas' embossing folder (approx 8.5 x 1.5 inches) and a bundle of 32 LOTV toppers (6 different images)
There are so many images in the LOTV pads, the embossing folder was part of a set and I have accumulated rather a lot of snowflakes - so again I thought it was time to share. I put a strip of red card to try and show the words on the EF.

The winner is Jenny L - claimed)

Thanks for popping by and I'll be back tomorrrow with more candy, so do feel free to come and take a look. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Woodware stamps pre-loved candy

Hi everyone, I've been rather busy this week sorting out and doing things at my Dad's ready for it being put up for sale next week so I've not had much time to switch the laptop on. I did bring home a small chest of drawers for my craft stuff and I'm now in the process of sorting through my stamps and dies. I bought these 2 Woodware stamps last year that I've only inked up once and which I know I won't use again.... so if any of my followers would like them please leave a comment below and I'll pick a name next weekend. I know they are quite old designs so if you already have one of them but would like the other, then please say so and I'll do another pick for the second.

They are Woodware 'Christmas Hoot and 'Huge Snow'

(The winner is Anne - claimed)

Hope you all have a great weekend and better weather than we've got here!

Post edited to add a snippets make created by my Dad for me last summer and which I just found in the bedroom drawer. These are leg / ankle warmers he made from leftover bits of wool so I'm going to go and show them off to the Playmates over at Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge

I'll be adding  more pre-loved candy over the next few days so feel free to pop back and have a look.
