Little Boxes

You know with paper pads there are always some sheets you just don't get around to using for whatever reason so I decided to make some little origami gift boxes. These each take two 6 inch papers with snippets of card stuck inside the lid and base to strengthen them. Then you decorate with anything to hand - in this case some die-cut snippets, gems, butterflies and flowers.

So quick and easy to make - if you want a bigger box just get out those 8 inch and 12 inch papers and they're ideal for giving gifts in.

I made these so I could join in with the Allsorts challenge which is 'anything but a card' and as I used some snippets I'm also heading over to see the playmates over at Pixie's Snippets Playground

  1. What sweet boxes Andrea! I'd be just as happy to have an empty box as one with a gift in. Really pretty.

Hope you're hanging on in there with that back and that your visit to a specialist isn't too long in coming.

    Di xx

  2. Psssssssssssssst, it isn't long until you family come over to visit is it? Be SURE to post photos of the little one! :) xx

  3. Oooo what a super idea and the paper i usually have left, are ones that don't just seem to go with the rest of the papers too !!, Luv Sam x

  4. Super boxes Andrea, they are so pretty - a brilliant way to use up your leftover papers.

  5. These are really gorgeous and not only have you used up some stray papers but no doubt some embellishments too.
Thank you for joining our anything but a card challenge this week at Allsorts.
