Engagement Card

Some of you may have seen in my post a few weeks ago that my daughter and her boyfirend got engaged and this is the card I made for them. It was a bit late being made and they only received it yesterday but it was well liked and I was forgiven for the lateness.

I had originally intended to go for a very CAS modern style but wanted to do something a bit more special so decided to head over to a fellow blogger Romantyczka for inspiration as she makes the most wonderful cards which have a very romantic feel to them... well worth a visit.

I really was pleased with what I finally made although I did feel a bit out of my comfort zone. Hopefully it borders on modern and romantic.

Paper ~ Prima
Dies ~ Memory Box Catalina Wreath, Xcut nesting hearts
Punches ~ Dovecraft Ribbon heart border, Dovecraft Daisy
Stash ~ Prima butterfly, Hobby House pearls, ribbon, flowers,
and the names were typed on the computer

Well the weather here has certainly become autumnal so it's time to get working on a few christmas cards as I always forget to allow for overseas posting dates! Have a good weekend whatever your plans are and thanks for popping by today.

  1. This is GORGEOUS, Andrea. They could not help but love it, anyone wood. It is so very precious and it doesn't matter if it was late. I think as long as you got it to them before the wedding you are good. LOL Please pass my best wishes on to them. Have a nice autumn weekend. It is getting a bit chilly here also.
