Card for a man / boy

Welcome to my blog on this very miserable wet day. If you have the time to leave a comment it would be very much appreciated as I love readding what you have to say

I've made a male card today using a one colour theme and following a sketch from Totally Gorjuss

The sweet little boy fishing is a die-cut image from Lili of the Valley - great to have around for when you don't have time to colour - and layered onto green card. I'm not sure about the background paper as it is cut from an A4 sheet which came with a magazine. The embellishments are both Cheery Lynn, Fanciful Flourish B117 and Exotic Butterfly DL112. The oval was hand cut with gold peel-off numbers.

I shall enter this in the following challenges
Totally Gorjuss challenge 'It's a sketch'
Cheery Lynn challenge 'Make it manly'
Going Buggy challenge 'One colour'
Cute Card Thursday challenge 'Water, water everywhere'
Crafter's Companion challenge 'Time to embellish'
Little Claire's Monthly challenge 'Male theme' (my 2nd entry)
